WHAT IS JACKSONVILLE WILLS ON WHEELS?
HOW IT STARTED
Jacksonville Wills on Wheels started when Attorney Nichols realized there were many elderly and disabled individuals who needed important legal documents prepared, but were unable to come to her office. She decided to "bring the office" to the client. The convenience and ease of discussing legal matters with an attorney in the privacy of the home is the most important part of Jacksonville Wills on Wheels.
HOW IT WORKS
The client calls for an appointment. Attorney Nichols travels to the home (at no charge) and discusses the various legal concerns of the client. Attorney Nichols returns to the office and prepares the documents. She sends the documents for the client to review (by U.S. mail or e-mail). Attorney Nichols then returns to the home for the signing of the documents. Family members are encouraged to attend the meetings so they can understand the process.
FREE PRESENTATIONS TO GROUPS
Attorney Nichols gives free presentations to groups to let them know about Jacksonville Wills on Wheels. These presentations are for educational purposes only; they are not a "sales pitch." Attorney Nichols speaks for 20-30 minutes on topics such as healthcare surrogates, living wills, powers of attorney, Lady Bird deeds, wills and how to avoid probate. The group is then allowed to ask questions. Attorney Nichols gives these talks at any time, including weekends. Presentations have been given for the following:

"Attorney Nichols came and saw our father on a Saturday morning because that was the only
time all six children could be present. She was so good that several of us have decided to
use her to make our own wills." Paul F.
